The Honorable President of the Lagos Polo club,Dolapo Akinrele(SAN) has finally put to rest the controversial claim that the forth coming Lagos tournament is going to be an invitational tournament. In his words,' the forthcoming tournament proudly sponsored by MTN is  the traditional Lagos tournament and that is what it is." so far we have sent our invitations to clubs nation wide and the list of teams is still flowing in. Though it is difficult to say now exactly how many teams are coming but you can be sure that several teams will be part of the tournament.
Again we are playing the traditional Lagos international tournament and we have invited as we always do all the clubs to participate. more details will be ale to give you after the weekend when all the participating teams would have been ascertained".
